So I got my wisdom teeth out. The operation went fine. Getting an IV wasn't the worst thing in the world like I thought it would be... and I passed out so fast I don't even remember anything. When I woke up, I wasn't in any pain either. I really haven't been in much pain at all, actually.

BUT...

The medicine they gave me made me throw up constantly... so all of yesterday I was nausous and vomitting and I can't eat anything and my face is so puffed up I don't even want to leave my room.

I've been in bed ever since I got home from the oral surgeon... except for throwing up and checking my computer once in a while. My head feels like a balloon... and everything is making me irritated, even if it wouldn't normally.

I just want to get better... :cries:

@o@ of man, I had to get all 4 wisdom teeth and that thing connecting my lip to my gum removed all at once just a few months ago. Believe me, it feels like its going to be like this forever, but it goes away pretty quick in the last few days. ^o^ Hope it goes quicker for you!

Hey, that's the same thing that happened to me! Except I stopped taking the medication, so my mouth ended up hurting...dunno... I guess I prefer hurting jaws to regularly losing my lunch...:P

...Oh, that's reminding me of all the grossness of having little holes in your mouth... REMEMBER to wash them out, once the stitches are gone... otherwise you could get some nasty crap stuck in there...NOT fun...

poor mandy! I hope you get better!

man this makes me want to go to the dentist even less tomorrow...I get x-rays to find out when I'm probably gonna get mine out. I've heard too many horror stories already. On oe my friends lived on vicaden and was completly out to lunch. Of course she still got an A on the french test...hmm....take vicaden....pass french test.....this sounds appealing...
